Now that we have our official roster and we are working on getting everything organized to have a fun hockey season! Welcome to all the players, we are thrilled to have you be part of our team.
Coach Dennis will do an introduction to you all soon but I wanted to point out a few things to get us started for the season.
Atom LL Red Email/Text Subscriptions:
Please signup for Email/Text updates from our team by going to
SDMHA Main page Scroll to the bottom left and subscribe to updates via email and/or text so you will notified of changes to schedules, news articles, etc. This will be our main form of communication to the team.
Contact Information & Jersey Number
In addition, if you could email your phone/email/cell for each family to Coach Dennis that would be great. While you are doing that, email me your childs 1st/2nd/3rd choice in jersey number. I do not know what the range is for our numbers quite yet (forgot to look at that yesterday) but I will try my best to accommodate everyone into one their choices. email:

Bondy Hockey Development
Signup for Atom powerskating sessions this season works a little different than last year but it is the same great sessions. You have to sign up in advance (DEADLINE: is September 25th!) ...print the sheet and drop off a cheque at the address listed on the form.

On our previous team we had almost 100% participation from our team at these sessions and it made a huge difference on ice. If you are able to signup & participate in them we highly recommend it.
(note if you have children in other divisions - please consider this for them as well!)
Team Practices:
Team practices are at the Gemini on Tuesdays from 5-6pm. I know it is a tight time but do your best to get the kids dressed and ready to go on ice by 5.
Game Times:
It appears our game time slot will be 2-3pm Saturdays at the Gemini for home games. Our game schedule has not been determined as of yet.
Rocket Apparel Days:
If you are looking for off ice apparel, Pete's Sports will be at the arena, setup after practice on October 1st from 5-9pm as well as October 2nd from 5-9pm. You might see Coach Dennis there too!
Gate Duty:
Once our game schedule is setup, I will assign gate duty and give details on how that has changed a little from previous years. As always you can switch with another parent if your day won't work.
Medical Form/Player Forms
At our first practice on October 1st, we will hand out Medical forms/player forms. Please return them to myself or Dennis by the following week at the next practice.
Team Party/Get to know eachother
Sometime in October/November we will have a team (family) party where we can all get to know the kids & parents better (and those siblings that'll be together at the rink!). It'll be a potluck at the Deans house and we'll get some potential dates together soon.
