Weekend Wrap Up
It was an exciting weekend of hockey for Novice White with back to back hard fought games.
Saturday’s game against Novice Black ended with a 4-3 loss. Everyone worked hard to tie up the game in the 3rd period but Novice Black scored to take the win. The hard hat went to Nolan for his great defensive plays and goals were scored by Tyson (2) and Josh. Sunday’s game had the crowd on the edge of their seats and was lost (3-2) in the last second of the game when Novice Red got one in the net. Goal tending was GREAT in this game with Brennon making several key saves! Goals were scored by Josh and Ryan, and the hard hat went to Trevor for putting forth such a great effort.
Both games on the weekend were great to watch. From the stands you could see the boys getting into position, passing the puck and playing hard! Defense was strong both days with Trevor, Nolan, Keegan and Max making some great plays. Brennon did a great job in net both days and had some impressive stops. Ryan, Tyson, Carter, Nial, Logan, Tucker and Josh worked hard on forward and dug for the puck, passed and created lots of scoring opportunities. All in all, a great weekend!!!
