Weekend Wrap Up
Novice White traveled to Niagara Falls New York on the weekend and took part in the Gene Harrington tournament and were faced with a tough challenge. With the team facing 3 tough teams from the Toronto Area the boys battled hard to hold there own.
In the first game the Rockets battled the Leaside Flames Select and lost a tough one 6-0. After a short break the team was back on the ice to face a tough North York Tier 1 team. The boys worked their hardest to fend off the strong attack put on by North York and managed to net the first goal of the tourney for the team by Ryan. The boys battled hard to keep the score as close as possible in a tough match-up. In the Quarter finals the team faced another tough match-up vs Thornhill. The boys battled hard the whole game holding tough on there positions. Great play by all the boys led to a fun weekend. The coaching staff was proud of how all the boys played and worked.
