Novice Rep, 2012-2013 (Strathroy Minor Hockey)

  Last September, when the Strathroy Novice Rep team was selected, it was obvious they were a special group of 13 individuals with the potential to become a great team. At season’s end now, 6 months later, it is truly amazing to have seen this group come together as 1.     

   On March 5th, The Strathroy Novice Rep Jr Rockets went into Dorchester with a 2-0 series lead, with hopes of ending it with a win and advancing to the OMHA Finals.       

  On February 19th, the Strathroy Novice Rep team (sponsored by Dodge Caravan Kids and Ricco Foods) travelled to Dorchester to wrap up their OMHA Round Robin play. The Jr Rockets entered the game hoping to finish with a perfect 8-0-0 record.

A lot of fun was had by all the Novice players and their families at the Dodge Caravan for Kids Team Photo Shoot. Thank you to Dale Wurfel and his staff!

After a busy weekend of hockey, playing two games Fri. two Sat. (late Sat. night) and the final game on Sun. The boys had enough energy in the tank to come up with a big 7-0 win over Saugeen Shores to win the Bronze medal.  Great Effort Rockets!
