Few follow up notes from our parent meeting & reminders...
1.) As previous mentioned, we have one away tournament booked for this hockey season. It is in Oshawa, ON - CYO Bob Black tournament - February 14th-16th. We have participated in this tournament before and it is a well run tournament and we had a blast at it last year! We have blocked room at the Hilton Garden Inn in Ajax, ON approx 15 minutes from the tournament arenas. It has a pool and the 4 other Strathroy teams will also be staying there. Should make for a fun time! The room rates are $144 per night. Games start on Friday afternoon after 2pm. I should have a schedule late January.

Step 1) Click Submit
Step 2) Click “Reserve Individual Room” to make an individual reservation.
Please make sure that all the information is accurate before accepting the individual cancellation policy and clicking submit.
2.) the tournament fee per player is $ 60. In addition I need $10 per family towards two baskets we have to donate to SDMHA for raffling at the John Henry Tournament & End of Year Awards Banquet. - So total I need per family is $70. That can be paid to Barb.
3. Gate schedule - once our games start in December we will have a gate schedule to take turns manning collecting fees as you come into home games. All parents should have received their gate tags when I handed out the medical/omha forms.
4.) Allergies - just as a heads up, we have a couple players with severe peanut and tree nut allergies. Please be mindful and not bring these type of snacks around our players to keep them safe :) or if you are thinking of sharing a treat please speak to me so we can talk to the parents with the children that have allergies to make sure they are safe before handing them out.
5.) The Rep Olympic tournament is being hosted by SDMHA this weekend and so we do NOT have practice this Friday. Our sunday practiced has been moved to 4-5pm at the Gemini.
