Alright...who is still smiling about Braeden's big goal on Saturday? I'll probably never forgot that smiling face as he got his first hockey goal! Way to go Braeden and congratulations on being player of the game! One more hat to go. With it being freezing cold out right now, that'll keep your head nice and toasty warm!

Oshawa tournament: I received an email tonight from the organizer after I inquired about start times etc. They are almost done the schedule, but she said that our first game would be no earlier than 3pm (I nicely asked if possible for a later afternoon start or early evening - we will see). Of course as soon as I have the firm schedule times, you'll be the first to know so anyone that needs to car pool etc can get that figured soon.
Gate Schedule & tags: Once playoffs start, we will have a new gate schedule for home games (I think I hear cheering...glad you all love doing gate duty). Your key tags given to you at the start of the season are for regular season games only and won't work for playoffs. Just a little FYI so you can stop buying coffee's with the loonies & toonies and start saving up to get into your kids hockey game.
The Saturday power skating sessions with Mike Bondy that were subsidized by SDMHA are now over. On behalf of the coaching staff, I want to say how proud we were of the turnout by our team to these sessions this season. The majority of our team made it out each week and that was great to see. Thank you to Mike & SDMHA for making this available to them teams!
