Again this year, SDMHA has elected to use an online sign up program (SignUp) to help make it more convenient for volunteers to find and sign up for volunteer opportunities. There is a Quick Link located on the left hand side off the home page which will take you directly to the website or you can use the "CLICK HERE" link below or you can contact Mike Boere, the volunteer coordinator at
[email protected] and he will send you an invite via email that will bring you to the correct location.

We require 8 hours of volunteer time per child (excluding Mites) to be eligible to be reimbursed for the volunteer fee paid with your registration. There are many opportunities available throughout the season which will be posted to sign-up for as the events draw near. Occasionally the times available for volunteering will not add up to exactly 8 hours. Perhaps you are a little short, or even over an hour. Should you be short hours, please contact the volunteer coordinator and he will make every effort to find time for you. There are opportunities every month for small amounts of time to volunteer. If you are perhaps over the 8 hours, we thank you for being available to assist the organization and give more than what is required so that the events can run smoothly and efficiently to the benefit of the hockey program and the skaters.
