Schedule & Results, Tyke Blue, 2014-2015 (Strathroy Minor Hockey)

Tyke Blue headed to the ice Saturday morning to face the Mt. Brydges Cougars Blue for the first game of the season. Both teams fought hard with each teams Goalies facing a plethora of close range shots.
In the end Mt. Brydges was deemed the winner, as the Tyke Blue Rockets fell 11 – 7. Tyke Blue’s first game was not without some great team effort and milestones as #5 Grace Kirkham, #7 Brayden Hodgins, #14 John Waters, #17 Nolan Rosser & #11 Evan Hathaway all scored their first Goal of the Season. Hathaway added another milestone by getting a hat trick and #10 Emma Boere recorded her first point assisting on the 5th goal. Between the pipes #30 Noah Kaspersma faced over 25 shots with a 2.27% save percentage. The team managed to get 21 shots on the Cougars’ net, and spread the puck around with some great passing and individual efforts.
