NotesTyke Blue played a hard, close game against Tyke Black this Saturday at the Gemini. Tyke Blue out shot Tyke Black 27 - 14 however were unable to get the puck past a hot goalie late in the third resulting in the loss.
First Time Tender Grace Kirkham played very well and all the players, parents and coaching staff were pleased with her efforts.
Goals were scored by #11 Hathaway (5), #8 Tyler (1), and #30 Kaspersma who game out between the pipes and got his first of the year.
Another strong team effort with over 9 players contributing on the score sheet with #8 Tyler (2), #10 Boere (2), #7 Hodgins (2), #Dickson (2), #16 Waters (1), #30 Kaspersma (1), #20 Townsend (1) his first game back from the IR, and #13 Morris (1) who was called up from the Mite program.
Next on the schedule is an early Sunday Morning affair against the Lambton Shores Predators Black at Gemini Green.
