Over this past weekend the Strathroy U16A Jr. Rockets got a little more into the Christmas Spirit and gave back to our community.
On Saturday, December 7th, the boys got up a little earlier then what 15 year old boys are used to and went back to their Timbit Days and helped out our U5 Program. They participated in Drills & Demonstrations and truly mentored these future rockets.
Later on after they hit the ice for their own 90min skate they went out to McDonnell Motors and helped them out with their Toy and Food Drive. We encourage all of you to stop in at McDonnell Motors over the month of December to assist them in providing toys and food to our community.
The boys head out to Chatham this weekend for Silverstick and are looking forward to a great competitive tournament.
