Association Members!
The SDMHA Executive called a Special Member Meeting to discuss and vote on several
important items that will shape the future of our association. In the past few
days there seems to be some individuals sharing mis-information and causing
confusion amongst the members.
Your attendance and input are crucial!
📝 Meeting Agenda
The following key items will be presented for discussion
and potential vote:
1. Bylaw Amendments Vote
• Discussion & Vote: Review and final vote on the
proposed bylaw amendments that were tabled and accepted during the 2025 Annual
General Meeting.
2. Registered Non-Profit Status
• Discussion & Vote: Presentation on the benefits and
requirements of becoming a formally Registered Non-Profit organization. Members
will vote on whether to proceed with this status change.
3. 2026/2027 Jersey & Apparel Supplier
• Information Session: The Executive will present
information regarding the supplier for the SDMHA's official jerseys and general
apparel starting the 2026/2027 season. This is an informational discussion; no
vote will be held on this item.
4. SDMHA Future Direction: Refresh or Rebrand
• Discussion & Vote: A critical discussion on the
long-term identity of the SDMHA. Members will be asked to consider and vote on
whether the association should:
• Option A: Proceed with a "Refresh" (minor
updates to current branding and structure).
• Option B: Proceed with a "Rebrand" (potential
changes to logo, colours, and name).
This is a pivotal meeting for the association. We
strongly encourage all members to attend and exercise their right to vote on
these significant decisions.
