The boys started slowly but finished strong at the Regional Silver Stick Tournament in Parkhill, ON. In a very tough evenly matched division the team seemed destined to save their best efforts for when they mattered most.
In the semi-finals the boys were tied 1-1 with the London Bandits after 29 minutes of play. Then off a face-off in our own zone we took the puck down the ice and broke the tie game at a critical time. They added an empty netter and were off to an afternoon match up with the London Nationals.
The arena was packed for the final game and their was some up and downs with intense moments - but the boys never trailed and skated away with a 4-2 victory in what was a game they seemed determined to win from the start.
Now its off to International Silver Stick in St. Clair Shores, MI. Congratulations Boys...!!!!
