Novice LL Black, 2012-2013 (Strathroy Minor Hockey)

Tonight's game was nothing short of amazing!!  The entire team played incredibly well!  Thank you to the kids that sacraficed some ice time for the betterment of the team.  Thank you to the parents for showing such great support in tonight's game and during the whole season.  At the beginning of the year, the coaches talked about how team success is more than just about winning games - it is about developing as players and teammates.  Our team certainly accomplished this goal!!!  Well done Novice Black!  Please continue to check the website for practice dates and times.  We are all looking ...

Despite short numbers today, the Novice Black team came out and gave it their all.  Well done to everyone for working so hard and not giving up.  Congratulations to Noah who was the Hard Hat Player of the Game.  Keep up the good work Novice Black - you deserve a win!!

Wow!! Tonight's game was another nail biter!!  Our team worked so hard and deserved a win.  There were so many chances!!  What a great team effort.  Congratulations to Owen on his goal - assisted by Ben and Curtis. Way to go Novice Black!

Today's game was nothing short of amazing!!  The entire team gave it 110% for the whole game.  It was certainly an exciting game to watch.  Goals were scored by Owen, Josh and Dante.  Dante, Cole, and Matthew got assists.  Jack did a great job in the net - he even took a puck in the melon!  Congratulations to Maira for being the Hard Hat player of the game.  You never back down Maira - way to go!! The next game is on Tuesday.  Let's bring our noise makers and cheer on our team.  Go Rockets Go!!    

It was a rough last two games. Big improvement was seen today with unselfish play and putting our teammates first before ourselves. The Hard Hat went to Dante for his usual hard work in the corners and great passing. Practise is Wednesday this week and info about playoffs will be forwarded as soon as possible.
