Thank you for your interest in the U14A Strathroy Rockets! My name is Dave Waun and I am the head coach for the 2025/2026 season.
The coaching staff looks forward to building upon our success from last season. We will be constructing a team with highly skilled players that are competitive, coachable, and motivated.
Our focus will continue to be on development, not only as individuals, but as a collective group with a strong emphasis on team tactics and strategies. The coaching staff will foster a positive environment using accountability and education to help each player improve throughout the season in order to reach their full potential.
With open borders, we understand that there will be conflicting tryout schedules, and a lot of questions. Please don't hesitate to email me as we are willing to work with families to ensure that their son/daughter has the best opportunity to play quality, competitive hockey.
I look forward to seeing all of our prospective players starting Sunday at the checking clinic, and throughout the remainder of the tryout process.
