Welcome Parents and Players!
My name is Brad Lalich. I am pleased to be coaching the U11B Team for Strathroy District Minor Hockey for the 2025/2026 season.
Born and raised in Strathroy, I spent a significant period of my childhood involved with Strathroy minor hockey—as a player, timekeeper, and, in more recent years, as a coach. This will be my fourth season coaching and I couldn’t be more excited. It’s an honor to be involved with a community that gave me so much. To this day, those times are some of my fondest memories.
My intention as a coach is to develop not only each player's skills, but also their love of the game! It's their passion for hockey that will be the foundation for their focus, engagement, and commitment. My goal is to build out drills that will strengthen their fundamental skills—skating, passing, positioning and play formation, shooting, and stick handling. While these are my tangible goals as a coach, I also strive to develop a sense of good sportsmanship along with building and maintaining a positive team morale and camaraderie amongst the players.
At the end of day and at the end of the season, a team's success won't just be measured by the number of wins and losses, but by whether or not your player enjoyed their season and being a part of our team. I aim to do just that!
The schedule details about our U11B tryouts can be found
here. During our tryouts and our regular season, I like to see attentive players that will listen closely and follow the drills as instructed. Each player should step on the ice with energy and put all their effort into each skate whether it's for a practice or a game.
Looking forward to a great season of minor hockey!
