Welcome Tyke Red LL Team
Dear Parents,
Welcome to the 2015/16 Tyke Red LL team. I'm very excited to coach this year's team and look forward to a great hockey season.
We have put together this letter to provide you with some basic information of what you can expect from this year's Tyke Red LL program.
The coaching staff's goal is to have every player improve in all aspects of the game. Our coaching philosophy is to ensure that every player is allowed the opportunity to improve and challenge themselves in new situations in order to reach their personal goals. I believe that every player has an important role on this team, and see the tyke program as a development opportunity to build the skills necessary to compete at the highest level. We want each player to love the sport and enjoy the team environment that we hope to create with this talented group of hockey players.
As this is a competitive team, we will be setting consistent player position in order to develop each player. Winning will not be the only measure of success and so our ability to work together and improve as a team will be a significant goal for this year.
I am looking forward to coaching your son/daughter this season. I expect that it will be a fun and exciting year!
