PARTICIPANTS
Thank you for supporting and participating in the John Henry Memorial Tournament. This tournament is now in its 49th year. The intent of the tournament is to provide an atmosphere for Local and House League players that promote citizenship, goodwill and sportsmanship through competition. The founder, John Henry, was a native North American and long-time resident of the Strathroy area. He spent countless hours coaching and managing Local and House League Teams.
The following is information that you will find useful and we ask that you pass this information on to your team:

U9 - U18 LL $950
Entry into tournaments is only reserved with a registration form and full payment.
TOURNAMENT REFUND POLICY
If a team withdraws:
• On/before Jan. 11, 2024 - a full refund will be provided
• On/before Jan. 18, 2024 - a $475 refund will be provided
• On/after Jan. 19, 2024 - No refund will be provided
SCHEDULE/GAMES
All teams are guaranteed a minimum of 3 games. Schedules and game charts will be available on the www.sdmha.org website.
LOCATION
All games are played at the Gemini Sportsplex and/or West Middlesex Memorial Centre in Strathroy.
SIGN IN TABLE
Once your team has arrived for their first scheduled game, we request that each team have a bench staff member report to the second floor of the Gemini Sportsplex to the SDMHA Office. Team packages will be provided at this time. Electronic game sheets to be signed by all bench staff - coaches, trainers, and managers at the SDMHA Office before each game.
OFFICIAL ROSTERS
OMHA official team rosters will need to be emailed to the tournament coordinator by Jan. 19th, 2024.
Teams outside of OMHA (example: Alliance) must present an approved official roster from their governing body along with a travel permit.
GAME SHEETS
Game sheets have been moved to the electronic version.
RAFFLE TABLE
Items for the raffle table will be assembled in the lobby. For those not present if and when their names are drawn, notifications will be made by phone. All winners that have not claimed their prizes within 14 days from the end of the tournament will forfeit their claim on the prize. GOOD LUCK!
