Looking forward to a great tournament with a great group of players & families soon. We have a schedule of three round robin games. Friday, February 16 @ 6:10 pm Saturday, February 17 @ 1:10pm & 7:10pm.
We are fortunate they are all at the same location. Play-offs COULD be at different locations and I will keep everyone informed via text with that info. The arena address for round robin games is 8787 McHugh St, Windsor. The tournament link notes AM800 which is known as WFCU Centre. I also reached out to get details for playoffs (not yet posted) for planning ahead. I do know Nikolas will be excited to get his holidays started. Semi final games will be Sunday, February 18 @ 1:20 or 2:10 Hope we make it to the championship game on Sunday at 5:10pm.
Please plan on being in the dressing 1 hour prior to each game. At this point they should be dressing themselves with minimal assistance. Its hard but rewarding to see them grow up, gain independence and enjoy team bonding. Some of these children will not have the opportunity for parents in the dressing room next year. It would be beneficial to give the coaches 20 minutes prior to game time for instruction and the kids to take in new surroundings prior to the game.
Thank you to such a great bunch of kids for working hard, making your parents proud and showing us your love for the sport more and more every week. Thank you to the coaches for your time and dedication to our children. For sharing your knowledge, passion for hockey and discipline.
