Another awesome weekend for Tyke Black with back to back wins.
In Saturday's game against Mt Brydges Cougars (blue),
Strathroy started scoring early and kept the goals coming. Goal scorers were Carter with 2, Nolan with 1, Keagan with 1, Josh G with 4, Hayden with 3, Carson with 2, and Brit with
1. Final score was 14-2. Brennan was in net, and had some awesome
saves, including what should have been a TSN Turning point!!!! Nolan said it best after the game: "We
just had some Cougars for dinner"!!!!
The hard worker hat went to Brit for scoring her first goal of the
season. The coaching staff was extremely
proud of the passing every player was doing during the game.
In Sunday's game against Strathroy Red, Tyke Black squeaked
out a 5-4 victory. Goal scorers were
Hayden with 4 and Carson with 1. A
tandem effort in net of Trevor and Carter helped protect the victory. The hard working hat went to Hayden for his
persistence and scoring. All coaches
were proud of how the team battled back from and early deficit.
