📣 Volunteers Needed – John Henry Tournament (Jan 30 – Feb 1) @ WMMC and Gemini Arena's
The SDMHA is
seeking volunteers for the upcoming John Henry Tournament, running January
30 – February 1.This event is a highlight of our season, and we rely on
the support of our community to help make it a success!
We are currently looking
for volunteers in the following areas:
Office
Administration – Assist with team check‑ins, schedule
coordination, and general tournament support.
Rinkside
Sales – Help with merchandise and sales tables
throughout the tournament.
Raffle
Tables – Support our fundraising efforts by selling
raffle tickets during game times.
If you're able to volunteer your time, it would be greatly appreciated. This is a fantastic opportunity to support our teams, earn volunteer hours, and take advantage of the SDMHA volunteer reimbursement program. Remember:completing 8 hours of volunteer time earns you a $200 reimbursement for one child.
Please note:
-Families with one child in minor hockey can be reimbursed for up to 8 volunteer hours ($200).
-Families with two children can claim up to 16 volunteer hours total ($400) final Total. You can only be reimbursed for up to two children.
